The 35th National Games concluded on a high note with a spectacular closing ceremony at the National Stadium, leaving a lasting impression of enthusiasm and a commitment to future success. The event, a symbol of national pride, brought together athletes from every province under one flag, proudly representing their regions. Field Marshal Asim Munir, the chief guest, awarded the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Trophy to the Pakistan Army, who successfully defended their title. WAPDA secured second place and received the Wajid Ali Trophy, while the Pakistan Navy finished third, earning the Pakistan Olympic Association Trophy.
Asim Munir officially declared the Games closed, marking the end of an eight-day Olympic flame that burned in traditional style. The ceremony emphasized the Games' significance beyond mere contests of speed, strength, or skill; it was a celebration of Pakistan's unity and diversity. Bilawal Zardari, the PPP Chairman, highlighted Sindh's pivotal role as the host province, praising its historic contributions to the country, including the adoption of the first resolution in favor of Pakistan. He commended the efforts of Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah and Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mehr, for their role in ensuring a smooth and successful event.
